The Institute of Nuclear Medicine is an internationally renowned clinical & research unit, and the largest single site nuclear medicine department in UK, serving an ever-larger number of patients. In 2020 over nineteen and a half thousand patients were seen with INM delivering NHS KPIs. Our core mission is to harness the cutting edge biological research undertaken on the UCL campus, applying it to overcome the diseases affecting our patients at University College Hospital and beyond. We are committed to providing first class research, with leading staff and facilities in both research and clinical areas. The Institute of Nuclear Medicine is one of the most research active departments in Europe.
INM performs a massive range of scans for clinical referrers across London and the UK, and hundreds of research scans across a wide range of clinical pathologies. With 2 state of the art PET/CT scanners, a Siemens PET/MRI scanner, DEXA, SPECT, SPECT/CT and Gamma Cameras as well as an onsite radiopharmacy and research department, INM is hugely diverse.
